Women Empowerment

Women have suffered the most in the present world as men dominated them and spurred them in previous centuries. They have been victims of molestation, rape, violence, abused poverty, maturations, ill treatment and all sorts deprivations, denial of equality denial of right and so on which is unjustified in the present world. They too born with men and now we need to initiate seriously to empower women through efficiency building in the field of education, social, economic, political and psychological. Women are the victims of social political, religious and economic subordination in indian society. Hence the Anjali social service trust have been giving skill training at various level and education to women to become entrepreneurs and to employee themselves as a group or individual in micro/medium level business which could help them run their families and children.

Rehabilitation of Street Children

The economic crises and extreme poverty, abounded men and dysfunctional families are common push factors of creating more and more street children. Hence street children are result of unemployment, poverty, violence at home, family integration, lace of center, rural urban migration, displacement of natural calamity, hunger are the sum of major reason as well as social exclusion within societies with high inequalities. Thousands of children are abducted in india and forced to beg on roads and street. Female street childrens face in terms of sexual exploitation, physical abuse and harassment which often goes un noticed nearly 20% children under the age group of 5 live in extreme poverty, therefore there is a need to protect these street children by giving them food, clothes, shelter, education, skill training and job which enables them to rehabilitate for their future survival. Hence we at ASSET work to identify street childrens and provide them the basic need rehabilitee provide them shelter through children home.

Nidhis Skill Training Center

Since inspection of ASSET in 2000, we trained the school dropout childrens, unemployed youth and women in various skill training. Our Nidhis skill development center, sirkali (A unit of Anjali Social service trust) is approved by national skill Development Corporation, government of india and as well approved by Tamil Nadu skill development corporation, Govt of Tamilnadu (TNSDC) We trained the unemployed youth school dropped and women free of cost and after completion of training we arrange for placement and many candidates start their own small business, as of date 18000 candidates have been trained successfully.

Nidhis Organic Farming

The consumptions of organic food is growing for its notorious value and health benefits, as conventionally grown foods have immense adverse health effects of presence of high pesticide residue, more night rate, heavy metals and genetically modified organisms. Also conventionally grown foods are less nutritious and contain lesser amount of anti-oxidants affecting the immune system. The quest for healthier food the demand for organically grown foods has increased immensely since last decade. Therefore Anjali Social Service Trust has developed Nidhi's agro farms which produce organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs etc. Also training on organic farming is provided to the farmer. We focused to invites more marginal and medium farmers to go for organic farming and provide them with guidance, marketing and training.
