Anjali Social Service Trust (ASSET) is a registered voluntary non-religious, non- political and non- Governmental Organization. The Organization is a registered legal body registered under the provisions of Indian Trust Act. 1882 (Public Charitable Trust). Our Registration No. is : 32/2000.

The main aim is to improve the social, Economic, Educational, Health and cultural aspects to the rural poor, slum dwellers and other economically weaker sections of the community. We Mainly focus on target groups as economically backward, especially women and children, landless labourers, small farmers, destitute, disabled people, youth, aged and aids prevention and control efforts on High Risk Groups such as Truckers and commercial sex workers.

MANAGEMENT AND
CAPABILITIES

The entire management of ASSET and its programmes are well governed by its members and with able support of its well trained staff. As it focuses on more female orientation and development, 60% of the staff are females in addition to developed community based voluntary workers. It pays attention in implementing schemes and programmes related to Education, Health care, Child Labour, Migrant Labour, Environment, Water and women Development.

The Board of members are met consulted regularly on policy making and in decision making on programmes and finance subjects. The field staff end representatives from project area are invited for the meetings. The meeting proceedings are transparent. Based on these decisions the ASSET Director leads the organization and the team to execute the activities coordinating with other sources and agencies in desired direction.

THE PROJECT PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION

ASSET design projects in consultation with its target groups and with the project team and its members. In every meeting the issues found are discussed and analyzing the feed backs of field staff. If data deemed highly important and falls with its vision, mission and objectives projects will be developed adopting participatory approach. The members of ASSET will be selected and the target groups incorporation will be ensured in implementation of the project, Generally the field staff will be absorbed from the project area for follow up.


STAFF CAPACITY BUILDING

The field staffs are given capacity building training once in 3 months. The resource persons from various departments, institutions, organization that have rich expertise in the subject will be utilized to develop the capacity of the staff. And so the staff are sent to capacity building training programmes in their relative fields organized by reputed institutions. This would promote their confidence and ability to cope with the field problems.
