Rehabilitation of Street Children
The economic crises and extreme poverty, abounded men and dysfunctional families are common push factors of creating more and more street children. Hence street children are result of unemployment, poverty, violence at home, family integration, lace of center, rural urban migration, displacement of natural calamity, hunger are the sum of major reason as well as social exclusion within societies with high inequalities. Thousands of children are abducted in india and forced to beg on roads and street. Female street childrens face in terms of sexual exploitation, physical abuse and harassment which often goes un noticed nearly 20% children under the age group of 5 live in extreme poverty, therefore there is a need to protect these street children by giving them food, clothes, shelter, education, skill training and job which enables them to rehabilitate for their future survival. Hence we at ASSET work to identify street childrens and provide them the basic need rehabilitee provide them shelter through children home.
